With an outstanding academic background in Business Management from Grenoble Ecole de Commerce and Environmental Policy and Management from Lund University, she combines strong business acumen with deep environmental expertise. Her experience across both public and private sectors enables her to effectively bridge the gap between complex circular economy policies and practical business strategy and operations.
Over the years, Lucyl has developed a strong specialization in the textiles sector. She has built extensive expertise in Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) systems and Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs), notably through her role as EPR Manager at the French Environmental Agency. As Circularity Manager at leading global retailer C&A, she built the group Circular Economy Strategy, and supported execution across business units including design and delivery of large-scale training programs. As a member of the Technical Secretariat for the PEFCRs for Apparel and Footwear, and as an active contributor to the industry-leading Circular Design Initiative, she is recognized for her expertise in textile ecodesign, including design criteria and eco-modulation mechanisms.
Her hands-on experience at the French Environmental Agency spans a wide range of circular economy topics, including resource sobriety, industrial ecology, waste pricing systems, municipal waste management, and repair, reuse, and recycling operations. Now working as an independent Circular Economy consultant, Lucyl supports both public and private organizations in designing and implementing impactful circular strategies and roadmaps. Her areas of focus include textiles, electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), and packaging.
