She led advocacy strategies at the European level and also oversaw the implementation of European legislation, particularly the regulation on packaging and packaging waste. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A lawyer by training<\/strong>, with a specialization in European law and environmental law, Romane also has experience working at a law firms, at the European Commission, and in the private sector, which allows her to combine her legal expertise with practical implementation.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, Romane works as <strong>an independent consultant<\/strong> for <strong>Circulearth<\/strong> and helps public and private sector organizations understand and define their circular economy strategies\u2014in line with national and European regulatory requirements\u2014to reduce waste, decrease their dependence on fossil fuels, and become more competitive.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to her consulting work, Romane teaches a seminar on &#8220;Circular Economy Law&#8221; as part of the Master 2 program in Sustainable Development Law at Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Skills  <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2714 <strong>Strategic, legislative, and regulatory analysis: <\/strong> 7 years of experience in legislative and regulatory analysis, combined with providing guidance to various stakeholders on circular economy issues under French and European law.
